The American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering (AIMBE) has introduced the induction of Kenneth Loparo, Nord Professor of Engineering and chair from the Department of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology, to the College of Guys.
Loparo was nominated, examined and chosen by peers and people from the College of Guys to add mass to advanced signal processing strategies to improve monitoring, recognition, and diagnosis in critical care, epilepsy, and sleep.
The School of Guys is composed from the top 2 percent of medical and biological engineers in the united states, and AIMBE guys are regularly renowned for their contributions in teaching, research and innovation.
Loparo joins 23 other Situation Western Reserve faculty people within this elite number of students. He was formally inducted in a ceremony held throughout the AIMBE’s Annual Meeting within the National Academy of Science in Washington, Electricity, on March 15.
